In depth

Get to know our work:

Development cooperation and solidarity

We support cooperation projects and international solidarity, with the aim of improving the living conditions of communities that really need it, developing economic solidarity systems that respect the environment and favour a positive coexistence among people. Our experience, together with that of the international culture and music festival Rototom Sunsplash, has been deepened over the years and allowing us to collaborate in local, national and international projects, with numerous associations, NGOs and institutions that share our dream of building a more just and egalitarian society.

These are some of the entities with which we have cooperated supporting different projects over the years:

Cultural events

Since 2010 we have organized the extra musical activities of the biggest reggae music festival in Europe: the Rototom Sunsplash in Benicàssim. In each of the festival’s editions we have developed multiple cultural areas to promote the values of peace and social justice:

  • Social Forum, meeting place where we can share our views on the candescent issues of the moment in which have participated distinguished guests such as the Nobel Peace Laureates Rigoberta Menchú and Shirin Ebadi, the Polish philosopher Zygmunt Bauman, environmental activist Vandana Shiva and numerous other international speakers.
  • African Village, where African arts and cultures are valued;
  • Magico Mundo, a place to create, play, share and dream, dedicated to children and their families.
  • Pachamama, a place to reconnect with Mother Earth
  • Social Art Gallery, a space dedicated to artistic expression and to bringing artists close to the public
  • Rototom Circus, a place where circus acts work as an engine of change
  • No Profit, a space dedicated to providing a platform to share the cooperation work of NGOs and associations

Environment

We promote and support projects and activities that protect and sustain the environment.

Climate change, the contamination of plastics and other chemical products, the lack of water and deforestation are very real threats and are direct consequences of the Neo-liberalist economic system that does not want to look for alternatives.

However, we believe that these alternatives exist. That change begins with each one of us and requires greater participation, democracy and awareness. Therefore, we collaborate with all the people, organizations and groups committed to respecting and saving our beloved Mother Earth.

Education and Awareness building

We promote educational, training and awareness-raising activities to develop intercultural, just and egalitarian societies.

We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools to create an empathetic, active and critical citizenship. It is, the best way to fight against the inequalities, injustices and social divisions that afflict our societies. Therefore, we organize workshops for both, children and adults, promoting creativity and social inclusion, in collaboration with artists, musicians and teachers, locally, nationally and internationally.

We also organize debates, concerts, theatre and social circus shows, art exhibitions and socially renovating actions in marginal neighbourhoods, with the aim of raising awareness and sharing our dream that another world is possible.

If you want to organize an activity to improve your neighbourhood, to help a community or to raise awareness among your target audience about social, political or economic issues, do not hesitate to contact us. We are open to many forms of collaboration, dialogue and participation.
